Our 24/7 National Support Centre based in Revesby provides support directly to all our customers and branches nationally 7 days a week. The RoleReporting to the Customer Service Manager we are currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer with exceptional data entry skills to join our 24/7 Support Centre, working 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday. This role will involve responding to a high volume of inbound customer orders, via phone, email and web portals. This position is fundamental in providing exceptional customer service while at the same time delivering great outcomes for the business by processing customer orders effectively and efficiently. This role is ideal for a highly driven individual that is detail focused and has the ability to think two steps ahead. Responsibilities include:Prompt customer and stakeholder response in accordance with policies & procedures, whilst striving to meet business targetsBeing the first point of contact for all enquiries including but not limited to; pricing, parts, availability of stock, order enquires and much moreEntering all sales order information into our internal databasesReviewing customer orders ensuring they are correct, applying a high level of attention to detailLiaise with customers in relations to purchase ordersProviding sales quotes via email to any customers As the ideal candidate you will possess the following key attributes:Ability to work under pressureExcellent time management and ability to be able to multitask and navigate between system and databasesAbility to communicate with a diverse range stakeholders from various areas of our business, internally and externallySelf-motivation, initiative and drive to go the extra mile!Experienced working within a high-volume, fast paced, call centre or customer service environment high volume data entry or Previous internal/counter sales experience within an industrial business What's in it for you:A highly competitive pay rate with overtime rates where applicableUp to 4 weeks training on internal systems and processesConstant support from the management teamExcellent career progression opportunities within HitachiHitachi Construction Machinery Australia is experiencing unprecedented growth and success.
