Sheridan Maine is delighted to be recruiting for an Accountant to join a growing manufacturing business in Leicester.
Our Client is growing year on year at an incredible rate and require a Contractor on a long term ongoing assignment.
The role
Reporting to the Directors in the Business, the Accountant will be responsible providing timely and relevant Management Information.
Duties
- Preparation of Management Accounts
- Preparation of short and long-term budgets and cashflow forecasts
- VAT returns and liaison with HMRC
- Oversee year end statutory accounts preparation and audit process
- Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations
- Preparation of KPI reports for senior management
- Running weekly and monthly payroll
The Person
The successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA)
- A hand-on individual who can work with autonomy
- Good Excel and Sage skills required.
