Client Details

Our client is an extremely impressive, fast growing, innovative construction business. Having evolved significantly in the last 3 years, the company has won a number of key contracts to guarantee revenue streams over the next 7 years, with a vision of achieving £50 million in line with their longer term plan.

The business 'punch above their weight' in terms of their approach, speaking at conferences at how they are leading the way in their technological support of their market; and they are now in a position to bid against key names and large competitors in their field. All their projects are profitable, which is rare in their industry.

Description

The company Finance Director is looking at taking a side step into a consulting role, so as a result the business are looking to recruit an experienced, ambitious Financial Controller, who will lead the finance team both operationally and commercially. The role will be accountable for all financial reporting and all operational accounting matters, in addition to partnering with the head of commercial, and the head of business operations, to support the profitable growth of the company. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Financial Controller will be part of the senior leadership team, but it is expected that the person in the role be happy to get as involved in the detail, as company strategic planning.

Profile

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant, with demonstrable staff leadership skills. It is expected that you will have experience of supporting the commercial side of your business, as well as day to day managing the smooth running of finance.

In your CV it's important that you highlight your achievements, where you have added value to processes and where you have developed ideas or initiatives that have helped a business grow. We are looking for progressive candidates who will be able to take on more responsibility and build a bigger team under them while the company expands.

Job Offer

A salary of between £65,000 and £80,000 depending on experience. Company benefits will also depend on experience, and will be matched against expectation.
