Payroll Assistant

A key Bath based client of mine are looking to add a Payroll Assistant to join their expanding team. If you have a background in Payroll or Administration and are looking for a new challenge, then this role could offer great progression with a competitive salary (up to £21,000) and an extensive benefits package.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Point of contact between colleagues, managers and third parties to resolve any relevant queries
• Supporting Payroll Management team in delivering projects and improving team efficiency
• Processing monthly payslips, reports and payments to HMRC
• Ensuring correct details input onto the payroll system highlighting errors and anomalies

Skills and Characteristics:

• Competent administrator with a strong worth ethic, organisational skills and the ability to resolve issues rapidly as they arise.
• Previous payroll experience would be beneficial, although not essential.
• Proficient across the Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word)
• Strong communicator
• High level of attention to detail
