This is a great opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to work in an interesting role within a successful organisation. You will be the "go to" person for all financial matters and will be a pivotal role in driving the business forward by providing relevant financial information for the company.

Responsible for providing financial activities and support to the business and colleagues .. Prepare clear budgetary planning legislation and manage and supervise direct controls of work staff, monitoring performance levels.

Responsible for Administration staff that have direct input into financial practises

Business Objectives - Be responsible for the collection and preparation of accounts.  Providing and interpreting financial information on monthly and year end reports.  Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends. 

Analysing changes and advising accordingly to meet business needs  Formulating strategic and long-term business plans. 

Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance. 

Analysing competitors and market trends.  Developing financial management mechanisms that minimise financial risk.  Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities. 

Managing a company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems of bank reconciliations, VAT returns and payroll preparation.  Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out. 

Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitor’s bankers and statutory organisations such as the Inland Revenue. 

 Managing budgets and credit controls. 

Supervising staff. 

Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation. 

Ensure that all invoice revenues are accurate using system software ( Pro Hire) 3.0 Payroll Job Duties:  Processes company's payroll every pay period  Maintains payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data  Processes company's payroll every pay period  Maintains payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data  Computes employee take-home pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes  Answers staff questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records 

Receives and coordinates requests for leave and other absences 

Handles changes in exemptions, job status, and job titles  Adheres to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law  Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records  Honours confidentiality of employees' pay records  Completes payroll reports for record-keeping purposes or managerial review 

Determines organisation's tax obligations by calculating national and council taxes as well as National Insurance contributions  Performs the distribution of wages through issuance of paper checks or direct transfers to employees' bank accounts  Supervises other payroll clerks and employees as needed 3.1 Compliance H&S Ensure Health & Safety policies and procedures are actively followed Ensure the business location is in compliance with regulatory bodies Implement and maintain statutory policies and programs 3.2 Financial & Operational Responsible for safe and effective operation of the business.

Control expenditure through formal pre-approval of all invoicing prior to payment. Ensure all financial performance standards and procedures are followed

Ensure maximum cash flow is maintained

Identify cost savings and performance improvement opportunities . Customer Responsible for ensuring that each invoice accurately refers to correct nominal codes to reflect spend on the P&L.

Ensure effective communication to Operations Manager regarding any issues likely to affect customer service. Maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers. 3.4 Staff Management and Communication Ensure safe working practices are observed by all staff Ensure a highly productive and motivated workforce dedicated to high quality business ethics

Provide clear and concise written and verbal communications. Establish and maintain quality customer, vendor and location staff relations. Other duties will be explained upon a successful application
