Group Accountant

Group Accountant 75k plus 15% Bonus and Car Allowance

One of the world’s largest tech companies seeks a process driven Group Accountant to drive change within its financial accounts department, with excellent opportunities to progress your career. This is not an opportunity to be missed.

Role and Responsibilities

• Support the EMEA Group with management and financial reporting.
• Process within the EMEA Group and ultimate reporting to the Tokyo parent.
• Provide IFRS technical accounting support to the CFO and EMEA Group.
• Ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic and business decisions.
• Work with the Group consolidation team to ensure compliance with documented process.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process for the Group.
• Conduct balance sheet and working capital reviews across the Group.
• Ad hoc projects including Group policy writing is a must.

Required Skills/Experience

• Strong technical accounting and group reporting background including multi-currency consolidations.
• Experienced user of Excel based reporting tools (e.g SAP BPC, Oracle, Hyperion etc.)
• Strong understanding of profit & loss, balance sheet and cash flow forecasting methodologies.
• Experience in systems improvement projects.
• Strong Excel skills including financial modelling experience.
• Strong written and oral skills.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Experience of long term project accounting.
• Experience with the SAP ERP system.
• Experience with the SAP BPC Reporting tool including report writing.

Salary: £70-75K
