Financial Controller Salary - £50,000 - £60,000 Location - Preston

The business is run by an inspiring and entrepreneurial MD and is now looking to take the next step in the evolution of the company.

Your new role
This is an outstanding opportunity to take on the Financial Controller role within the business and work as a true "right hand person". There is a generous package on offer, a real chance to get involved in all aspects of the business from a finance, commercial and operational perspective. You will have full responsibility for the finances of the business. This will include managing staff and strategic planning.
Your duties will include the day to day management of transactional finance team, Process improvement and change management., Working to up skill and utilise the current finance systems, Budgets and forecasts, Oversee the completion of the management accounts, Cash management, Contract negotiation and finally working closely with stakeholder and members of the board on key business decisions.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a solid working background. It is important you can get to grips with the granular detail and have an hands-on approach to running a high performance finance function. You will be responsible for a team of finance staff and therefore have a true leadership mentality with the ability to motivate and develop team members. It is also important that you are IT Systems savvy and can look at current processes and improve them.
