Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable Job

I am currently recruiting for an exciting role to work for an established firm based in Romford/Hornchurch . The job will involve working within close knit team reporting to the Purchase Ledger Manager on a temporary to permanent basis.

What is involved in the role?

• Ensuring all processes and procedures are correctly followed in the processing of all invoices; expenses; Concur transactions and card payments

• Ensuring the completion of tasks in accordance with the work and task planner

• Ensuring all payment runs are available for review at agreed times

• Ensuring all payments are properly authorised and queried items are not paid until resolved

• Ensuring all suppliers are subject to supplier statement reconciliations as per the agreed schedule

• Providing ad-hoc management information and reports upon request

• Constantly looking for ways to improve the processes

What are we looking for in you?

• Experience of working within a purchase ledger department

• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUPS & Pivot Tables)

• Able to deliver to deadlines

• Methodical

• Attention to detail

• Numerate
