Management Accountant

A permanent contract for a Management Accountant for a successful business based in Deeside.

Client Details

A leading business based in Deeside, and growing on an international level, this business has over 2000 employees with several sites across the UK. They now have an opportunity for a part qualified Management Accountant to join on a permanent basis.

Description

This role will report directly into the divisional Finance Manager but will also work closely with other site directors, and will cover the following areas:

• Producing monthly management packs, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow forecasting
• Preparing annual budgets and forecasts, including variance analysis with detailed commentaries
• Stock valuation and usage calculations
• Control of the nominal ledger and balance sheet account reconciliations
• Cost and cash control
• Cash flow management and reporting
• Providing analysis and challenging commercial performance
• Preparing weekly KPI reports and customer insight reports
• Responsible for identifying opportunities for cost reduction, commercial opportunities that will help meet targets
• Able to suggest process improvements with the business and other stakeholders to help improve performance

Profile

This is a great opportunity for a candidate that prefers a hands on and results-focused role. We are also looking for:

• Strong management accounts experience
• Part qualified CIMA/ACCA
• Excellent Excel skills
• IT literate with strong systems knowledge, ERP preferred such as Oracle, SAP
• Strong communication skills
• Methodical and high attention to detail
• Strong commercial awarness
• Ability to build strong internal relationships
