This leading Aerospace Global Group based in Cambridge have an urgent requirement for a Senior Payroll Specialist to manage the payroll function currently consisting of interim staff whilst creating process and assisting the head of Payroll in a new system implementation. An exciting and varied role looking for someone with prior experience of managing and running a complex international Payroll

Description

Senior Payroll Specialist Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the payroll function through a period of change with a complex global payroll supported by Local tax specialist
  • Reconcile and balance payroll accounts proving full month end analysis and breakdowns
  • Compile and introduce robust compliant payroll procedures ensuring ongoing updates are maintained
  • Manage the Pensions Auto Enrolment process
  • Maintain correct and accurate PAYE
  • Ensure compliance throughout payroll and adhering to HMRC regulations
  • Manual calculations
  • Form part of the testing team when the payroll system transition starts.

Profile

Senior Payroll Specialist Experience and Skills:

  • Prior experience of managing or leading a payroll function ideally through an change or system project however Strong international payroll experience across various complexities
  • Various payroll systems would be an advantage however competency across payroll systems is the key element
  • Working to very tight deadlines
  • Exposure to overseas employee compliance with tax
  • Analytical and eye for detail
  • Intermediate excel skills
  • Good communicator
