Settlement Officer

Responsibilities:

• Post-trade processing of securities and futures in HK/overseas markets and performing settlement in back office system
• Handling the client's instructions on fund deposit/withdrawal and securities transfer instructions;
• Handling daily operations in CCASS including SI, ATI, cash prepayments, voting, entitlement options, eIPO / IPO application, etc.;
• Handling and monitoring corporate action events in HK/overseas markets for related custody clients;
• Handling daily operations in DCASS including position close-out and margin offset;
• Performing daily cash and stock reconciliation and resolve the discrepancies;
• To perform ad hoc projects as required

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or other related disciplines
• 1 - 2 years' of experience in securities and futures settlement
• Familiar with the operation of CCASS / DCASS
• Familiar with OctOSTP and Esunny is an advantage
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, preferable fluency in Putonghua
• Independent, self-initiative and good interpersonal skills
