Page Personnel are currently working with a rapidly expanding business in order to appoint an Assistant Accountant into their busy finance department. Reporting into the Head of Finance, the successful candidate will assist with month end processes as well as overseeing daily transactions.
Client Details
Operating across the UK, this growing business has been operation since the 1990's and is now one of the largest of their kind in the country. They have multiple sites including head office which based just North of Liverpool.
Description
The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for;:
- Prepayments and accruals
- Assist Head of Finance with month end management accounts
- Payroll processing
- Sales ledger and credit control
- Purchase ledger processing
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Profile
- Previous experience in a similar Assistant Accountant capacity is essential
- Up to date payroll processing experience
- Effective communication and organisation
- AAT qualified or early stages of CIMA/ACCA
