You will be part of the Payments and General Ledger Operations Team which is under Group Financial Control; a department under Group Finance Division. The Payments team handles processing of invoices, staff expense claims and corporate card expenses. It also manages the Staff Corporate Card Program that includes card issuance, maintenance and termination. Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Processing of vendor invoices and payments
  • Processing of staff expense claims and corporate card transactions
  • Billing and settlement of intercompany charges with subsidiaries and overseas branches
  • Preparation of general ledger reconciliation and expense reports
  • Filing and archival of payment documents
  • Assist in project work including system implementation and process improvement activities


Qualifications
Candidates should possess the following attributes:
  • Accuracy and speed in handling a high volume of invoices/payments and general ledger entries.
  • The person should be meticulous and organized in handling multiple processing steps and payment modes
  • Ability to handle both routine and project work at the same time.
  • Good analytical skills to handle processing and tax requirements
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Polytechnic graduates or "A" level holders
  • Accounting or finance-related qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
