Sheridan Maine is working exclusively with a client in Poole who is currently looking for a dynamic individual to become a valuable part of the finance team. This role will require you to work in a fast-paced environment and hit the ground running so experience within a similar role is essential.
The role will include, but not be limited to, assisting with monthly management accounts, VAT, cashflow forecasts and financial reporting. You should be capable of prioritising your busy workload to ensure that critical deadlines are achieved.
Job Specification
• GBP, EUR and USD cashflow forecasts
• Weekly and Monthly bank reconciliations
• Assisting the FC with monthly Management Accounts and Journal posting
• Reconciliation of inter-company transactions
• Preparation of quarterly sales commissions
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
• Preparation of Intrastat and EC Sales returns
• Monthly general ledger account reconciliations
Person Specification
• Minimum of 3 years' experience working within a management accounts function
• Previous experience working with multi-currencies
• Experience of HMRC reporting particularly VAT, EC Sales & Intrastat
• Strong experience of both the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
• Advanced excel capabilities
• Part Qualified currently studying towards CIMA, ACCA or AAT
• Analytical with great attention to detail
