Accountant

Are you ACCA / CIMA part-qualified and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role within a fast-paced international team? Sheridan Maine is working closely with a leader within its field to find a Payments Accountant to take the lead in a transformation project.

This Part-Qualified Accountant opportunity is a minimum 6 month fixed term position with a competitive salary and excellent benefits, and has a strong chance of being extended or turning permanent for the right candidate.

Reporting into the Financial Control Manager the successful Accountant will be responsible for driving the direct sales side of the business forwards by working on a payments project and analysing findings.

The main responsibilities for the successful Payments Accountant include but are not limited to:

• High volumes of reconciliations

• Investigating any errors and resolving the issues

• Looking into automating and updating processes to ensure issues are resolved for the future

• Liaising and working closely with wider business area

The successful Accountant will ideally be part-qualified ACCA / CIMA, and come from a Financial Accountant, Management Accountant, Finance Analyst or Assistant Accountant position. You will have strong Excel skills, ideally worked in a retail background and be available to start at short notice.
