Accounts Semi-Senior with XERO experience - Travel between Bridgend and Swansea offices - circa £22,000

Your new company
A well established practice with offices across South and West Wales, my client are well known in the area for great customer service and excellent staff retention. They are implementing Xero in readiness for 'Making Tax Digital' and want to bring in some experience to assist with this.

Your new role
You will join the team as either a Junior or Semi-Senior depending on your experience and qualification level. The majority of your role will still be based within Accounts Preparation, dealing with a mix of sole traders, owner managed ltd companies and several higher profile clients. In addition to this, you will travel to both the Bridgend and Swansea offices to support with a cloud accounting project that the practice are currently undertaking.

What you'll need to succeed
You should be at least a part-qualified ACCA / ACA / ICAEW candidate who has experience of working within the practice environment, competing full statutory accounts to manager sign off and submitting VAT returns. The right candidate will also be either Xero certified or have experience of showing clients or colleagues how to use the Xero system.

The salary is negotiable based on the candidate but the practice have a great tradition of developing their team and promoting from within. You will have the opportunity to become a systems expert within the firm and develop this side of your skill set along with your accounting skills.
