Audit Senior

Well established and growing firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking a capable and proven Audit professional to manage a portfolio of audit clients.
Reporting into a number of their Partners, you will have a good level of client interaction, therefore you will need excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

This is a hands on role, where you will get involved in planning and budgeting audits, reviewing files as well as handling the more complex clients within the firm including:

• Performing audits for small and medium sized companies within varied sectors
• Liaising with clients and dealing with any queries
• Monitoring audits, including supervision, and reviewing of junior staff’s work
• Ensuring audits are completed within budget up to manager or partner level
• Training junior staff on the audit assignment

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent
• Experience of working effectively within a team and supervising team members
• Experience of working in a similar sized firm
• Experience / expertise in law society, charities, solicitors, manufacturing and service industries
• Strong IT skills including a good working knowledge of Excel and Viztopia accounting software
