Senior Financial Controller

Your role as Financial Controller is fundamental to the business’s continued success to manage the finance function ensuring all regulatory and statutory requirements are met, and continue efficient internal controls for the function, and other aspects of the business are compliant to such requirements.

Your role will involve –
• The complete management of short and long term budgets, including working with stakeholders to guide and advise;
• Full statutory, regulatory and management accounting accountability for all companies in the group;
• Taxation responsibilities;
• Managing internal systems and controls and full management of the group’s cash flow.

You’ll be the primary Finance business partner, drawing on your expertise to evaluate and manage the function, working closely with senior management, departmental heads and budget holders.

You will hold a professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA, having started your profession in either a chartered/certified accountancy firm, or a major UK business, and have developed your career to management level.

Your technical knowledge will include IFRS, business tax, and have been part of successful audits. R&D and transfer pricing exposure will be an advantage given the nature of this company.

You will be of a high intellect with an analytical and commercial mindset, with the ability to command respect of senior stakeholders quickly.
