Barclay Meade Finance & Accountancy are recruiting for an interim Financial Controller for our blue chip client in Farnborough

Interim Financial Controller

- Looking after sales & cost of sales controlling.

- Deliver timely and accurate planning of sales by working with managers and collating their spend requirements.

- Prepare a monthly sales summary by calculating estimates of all monthly spend, ensuring all accruals are in line with IFRS

- Analyse sales & spend against budgets and forecasts and provide commentary upon variances.

- Evaluate the contribution margin effect of business proposals to ensure that business profitability is maintained.

-Prepare control accounts, analyse and investigate any reconciling items to ensure that accounts are fully reconciled in accordance with IFRS.

Interim Financial Controller Skills:

- Relevant financial accounting / cost controlling experience and qualifications (ACA, CIMA or equivalent) as well as a good level of business knowledge.

- Experience of pricing or other commercial analysis an advantage.

- Strong analytical skills: able to question complex information to identify cause and effect and deliver attractive solutions, both tactical and strategic.

- Effective communicator and relationship builder with the ability to deliver commercial and operational messages and influence stakeholders drawn from a wide audience including non-financial business managers.

- Flexible in approach, adaptable to changing situations and a good team player.

This is a 12 month contract, candidates applying must be available immediately or drawing to the end of their currnet contract
