Tax Advisor role for a CTA/ ATT qualified individual based in a firm in Nottingham.

Client Details

Independent firm based in the Nottingham region. The firm is undergoing significant growth and wants a Tax Advisor to join their established team.

Description

Tax calls

o Clients book their 20 minutes, 45 minutes or 2-hour tax consultations with us in advance. The advisor will have sufficient time to pre-plan the tax answers based upon receipt of questions and queries from the client.

o The advisor will be required to prepare and send a confirmation email to the client on completion of the call.

o The advisor will update the FAQ documents and other support systems from time to time in tandem with the other tax advisors as part of the businesses approach to continuous improvement..

o The advisor will review the tax computations for self-assessment and limited companies produced by the accountants of the business

o The advisor will be the contact point with the client to discuss their tax computation and to highlight tax saving options and approaches available immediately and for future planning

Profile

Keen interest to develop tax knowledge and support clients and team improvement alike

Desire to help the business grow and to take advantage of the possible management opportunities

Excellent customer service skills over email and the phone.

Job Offer

Salary

o £35,000 - £42,500 for ACCA/ACA + ATT

o £42,500 - £52,5,00 for ACCA/ACA + CTA

Holidays

o 32 days holiday (includes bank holiday entitlement but you can work these days instead of taking a holiday) - Pro rata based on 40 working hours per week

Study support

o ½ day per week study off (in the office) - pro rata

o ½ day off for the for the exam

o Exams and study support is paid for (not a taxable benefit)
