Financial Controller

We are seeking a Financial Controller with excellent leadership capabilities and significant financial control experience at a senior level in a financial services company.  The role is within a well-established organisation, managing a team of experienced Finance professionals who manage all finance tasks for a very significant book of business. Responsibilities Include: Preparing statutory and management accounts together ensuring accuracy and in accordance with required deadlines. Responsibility for ensuring accurate and timely delivery of valid and complete budget information to the Board.   Engagement with CFO on budget assumptions, deliverables and timelines Responsible for ensuring that expenses are controlled and if actions are required to reduce costs that these are agreed and actioned with the appropriate team. Managing the communication and allocation of shared services costs to all relevant lines of business Control and managing the Accounts Payable processes Assess, propose, manage and control strategic projects of a financial nature.   Managing the relationship with external auditors and ensure the annual Internal Audit plan appropriately deals with financial and regulatory risks of the business Monitoring the progress of risk mitigation activities Apply today for a confidential discussion!
