Management Accountant

We are on the lookout for a Management Accountant to join a well-established local business in the Newry area in a varied and challenging role. Working in a fairly autonomous capacity you will be responsible for the month-end close process as well as providing financial information to help the company grow. Key duties include: Preparation of monthly and year end accounts Preparation of weekly and monthly KPI information Preparation of departmental budgets and forecasts Prepare Cashflow and costing analysis Implementation of strong financial controls and ensuring they are adhered to Variance Analysis Preparation of weekly sales and bank position reports Produce annual budgets and cash flow projections for the directors Entering Sales and Purchase Invoices Bank Reconciliations Sales and purchase ledger duties Processing VAT and Statutory returns Working with Currencies Essential Criteria: Member of Chartered Accountancy body (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) High proficiency on MS Office (Advanced Excel Preferred) Strong on Accountancy Software systems Excellent communication skills If you are a highly commercial Management Accountant in the Newry/Armagh area and you're on the lookout for a new role then this is the opportunity for you!
