All-round Accountant - Property

My client is an international company within the property space and are looking for an accountant to be based in their London office and to oversee the entire UK accounting function.

Description

The key responsibilities you will have in this role are:

• Preparing the accounts for month-end and closing this by the set deadlines;
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations;
• Providing variance analysis and noticing trends within the management accounts;
• Overseeing an accounts assistant: AP, AR etc.;
• Managing the year end audit;
• Preparation of statutory accounts and overseeing tax responsibilities;
• Liaising with various finance & non-finance stakeholders;
• Adhoc tasks as and when required

Profile

As the successful candidate for this role you will:

• Be a qualified accountant: ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent);
• Have very strong communication skills;
• Be comfortable liaising with different levels of the business;
• Have a customer focused approach;
• Demonstrative experience working in a team

Job Offer

On offer to you, as the successful candidate is:

• £40,000-£55,000 (dependent on experience);
