Finance Business Partner - Fundraising

Based in the Finance team this position will play a leading role in supporting the Fundraising team with excellent financial management information to support the effective implementation of the strategy and its investment plans.

Description

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• To support the Fundraising Director in ensuring that all fundraising and retail strategies and operational plans are underpinned by sound financial analysis, business cases and modelling.
• To work alongside the fundraising team and external sources to provide financial and business information in order to enable them to make accurate and strategic decisions regarding further development and implementation of the fundraising and retail strategy.
• To take full responsibility for provision of clear management information to enable effective evaluation and management of fundraising and retail. This includes evaluating campaign performance and setting and review of growth KPIs covering all programme, channel and campaign areas.
• To drive the Fundraising departmental budgeting, operational planning and reforecasting process to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of key financial information to inform strategic and operational decisions.

Profile

The successful candidate:

• will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• must possess Charity Accounting & Fundraising experience
• must have a comprehensive understanding of Gift Aid
• must have demonstrable experience of designing and operating financial models
• must have experience of working successfully with non-financial managers
• will have substantial experience of leading/managing a financial management function servicing a medium sized diverse fundraising and retail operation.

Job Offer

£40,000- £45,000 per annum + a generous benefits package
