Bookkeeper/ Office Administrator - Herefordshire - £20,000 - £25,000 - Full or Part-Time Hours Available

My client a prosperous family run business based on the outskirts of Herefordshire is currently recruiting for a bookkeeper/ accounts administrator on a permanent basis. This is a new position that has developed in order to support the organisation with the day to day running of the accounts & administration.

Your new role
Your new role has developed due to the expansion of the organisation to support the directors with the day to day accounting and administration for the organisation. Your key duties will include; processing purchase and sales invoices, query resolution, setting up new accounts, running credit checks, credit control, bank reconciliation and VAT returns. As this position is working within a small environment you will also be involved in general office administration including; answering the telephone, responding to customer queries and general administration.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have previous experience working a similar accounts assistant position in a varied and hands on role. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and an adaptable and versatile skill set. Previous experience using sage is advantageous but not essential.
