A market leader in its field. This manufacturing company is looking to recruit a Financial Controller who will further strengthen the team and help to add to their ongoing success and reputation as the 'best in the business'.

Your new role
This role is based in Reading with weekly travel to sites in the UK. You will manage a team of c5 in the Berkshire head office, as well as a small team at the manufacturing site. You will be responsible for all aspects of the finance function, reporting to the Group head office. You will manage all financial reporting (FRS102), management accounts, cashflow and credit control. You will support the wider operation through budgeting, forecasting and analysis and provide commercial insight into costing, stock and inventory through the finance function.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant and have managed a team, ideally on a multi-site basis. You will have worked in the manufacturing or engineering industry and have the ability to liaise with a Group head-office, as well as get hands-on with the accounts. There will be regularly weekly travel, however this can be managed by the successful candidate and meetings can be scheduled to fit in with their diary.
