Financial Accountant

SF Group are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant on an interim - permanent basis, this is an exciting opportunity for someone who is newly qualified and looking to kick-start there career in a well established organisation North of Birmingham.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist in financial reporting to Group
• Assist in controlling the integrity of all balance sheets
• Work closely with the company directors and cost centre holders
• Working to ensure that all statutory submissions are on time, accurate and compliant
• Ensure that balance sheet reconciliations are accurate and timely
• Responsible for advising on financial reporting issues, year-end processes, dealing with external auditors and the production of year end statutory accounts

The Ideal Candidate:

• Knowledge of both IFRS and UK GAAP
• Knowledge of the external audit process and preparation of statutory financial statements
• Technical knowledge in financial reporting and accounts
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills

What you'll need to succeed:

• You will be a qualified accountant with financial accounting experience and you will be comfortable on Excel.
