Management Accountant - 12 month fixed term contract - About the role
Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the Management Accounting for one of the businesses in the Group (comprising of 8 sales regions) including the company's marketing division.
Management Accountant - Duties
The job holder will be responsible for the following duties: -

The job entails the following duties:-
- Preparation and review of the monthly management accounts for the 8 sales regions including the company’s marketing division.
- Detailed variance analysis of Monthly results to Budget and Prior year.
- Full Commentary on variances giving complete insight into what is driving the variances.
- Day to day liaison with Regional Sales Directors, Sales Managers and Budget holders.
- Presentation of monthly commentary’s to the Group Finance Manager and Group Financial Controller.
- Preparation of budgets and regular forecasts, including assisting in construction of the annual sales budget.
- Review and analysis monthly payroll.
- Maintaining the Fixed Assets Register.
- Calculate and review sales team monthly commission.
- Calculate furniture, print rebates and prebates.
- Responsibility for a number of balance sheet reconciliations.
- Processing of journals, accruals & prepayments.
- Car Fleet - ensuring car costs are being coded to the correct divisions.
- Assistance in preparation of the statutory accounts.
- Project work as required.

Management Accountant - About the company
Human Capital Partners are working with a business based in Croydon with revenues in excess of £250m to appoint an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Management Accountant.
Candidates will be fully qualified, ACCA, CIMA or ACA and will have a minimum of 3 years experience of management accounting including; P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, fixed assets budgets and cost centre management.
