Accounts Senior

Accounts Senior opportunity offering progression to Accounts Manager and long term as far as Partner within an established multi-office chartered accountancy & advisory practice.

THE COMPANY

This established chartered accountancy & advisory practice has expanded its North West footprint through acquisition and is experiencing continued steady growth in clients and fee income. The firm now has a unique opportunity for an ACA / ACCA Part-Qualified Accountant offering long term career progression as far as Partner.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Joining the practice initially as Accounts Senior you will support Partners with the management of large client portfolios and will be responsible for providing a range of accountancy and business advisory solutions to SME, OMB and Mid-Market Corporate clients.

Duties and responsibilities as an Accounts Senior will include:

- Preparing Year End Accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies (c.£30k t/o - £5m t/o)

- Corporation Tax Returns, general Tax advice and VAT Returns

- Providing SME and OMB clients with Xero Accounts, Bookkeeping and Management Accounting solutions

- Assisting clients with cash flow forecasts, business plans and business advisory projects

THE PERSON
You will be an Accountancy professional able to demonstrate the following:

- At least AAT Qualified or preferably ACA / ACCA Part Qualified

- Previous experience of working within an Accountancy Practice (min.4-5 years)

- The ambition to progress towards managing your own client portfolio and potentially running a small office as a Partner within a leading multi-office Chartered Accountancy Practice
