A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Finance Manager to join our Resourcing Business based in Maidenhead. The role reports directly into the FC helping to partner the business stream and implementing opportunities to improve finance processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce commercial models and providing support on bids and other commercial proposals.
• Identify and/or support opportunities for Operational improvement.
• To provide financial management and control for a number of recruitment contracts.
• To produce monthly and ad-hoc Divisional and Group reporting.
• Assist with tight working capital management

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Finance

• Supporting Sales Team with Commercial Modeling, reviewing current contracts and performance to assist with integrity of Models
• Project accounting, working with customers to resolve adhoc issues
• Ensure appropriate systems and controls in place to drive accurate financial reporting. Reviewing current processes to improve reporting and performance
• Responsible for production of monthly financial reporting, highlighting key trends and variances
• Own the monthly forecasting process and the annual business planning process. Create feedback loop to increase accuracy of future forecasts.
• Provide insightful MI to give better understanding of business and to help drive improved performance.
• Challenge Senior Management as appropriate and identify issues requiring further investigation.
• Oversee effective credit control and tight working capital management.
• Risk Management & Reporting
• Ensure risks are reported and escalated to the Division and Group Risk as appropriate.
• Developing awareness of risk management and consistency of understanding.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

• No direct reports at present but happy to review
• To abide by all Capita Security Policies and Procedures and escalate any breaches accordingly.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

• CIMA/ACCA qualified
• Business planning, forecasting and bid modeling.
• Excellent Business Partnering Skills
• Good Commercial Understanding
• Ability to present, challenge and be credible at Senior Management level with insightful information.
• Ability to move quickly between tasks and deliver on time.
• A proactive approach to finding solutions to business and system problems
• Good attention to detail. Accurate outputs with few mistakes
• Good written / oral communication skills.
• Microsoft packages (Word / Excel / Powerpoint).
• SAP skills preferred.
