Personal Tax Manager
My client, an established Accountancy practice , is currently recruiting for a Personal Tax Manager to join their business.
The Personal Tax Manager role will involve the management of the Tax department and presents an opportunity for an ambitious individual to grow and develop their own portfolio of clients. Freedom will be given to develop this your own way. Reporting to the director, you will initially be responsible for Personal tax clients who require compliance services
Duties will include:
- Manage portfolio of clients, meeting their requirements and maximising fee income
- Manage the production of clients personal tax computations
- Respond to tax queries from Partners/Directors
- Assist with billing
- Carry out consultancy work when required
- Attend client meetings where appropriate
- Design and implement standard letters/systems to improve the efficiency of the Tax Department
- Ad hoc projects/research
The Ideal Candidate
- Ideally CTA or ATT qualified
- Possess a personal tax background or at least have a preference for personal tax
- IT literate (Excel, Word, tax software)
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
