Commercial Finance Analyst - Basingstoke - Salary £40,000 - £45,000

Wade Macondald is currently recruiting for one of Europe's largest Hi-Tech businesses. Due to continued growth they are looking to recruit within its Commercial Finance function. The Commercial Finance Analyst will be responsible for supporting one of it's fastest growing divisions.

Candidate responsibilities:

• Reporting into the Commercial Finance Controller and with a dotted line in the Mobile BU commercial FD, this role is a critical part of the financial controls around manufacturer terms and payroll/incentives. It is a great role for an individual looking to gain a grounding in financial controls on a journey to a future FC role.

• Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Monthly reconciliation of manufacturer support balance sheet accounts.

• Verification of the accuracy and completeness of claims made to manufactures.

• Verification of the accuracy and existence of claims made by customers.

• Drive the timely raising of claims by the business to maximise working capital position.

• Driving a strong control environment through weekly meetings with the commercial brand managers to ensure income and cost evidence is being tracked and appropriately documented.

• Check the accuracy of calculations of monthly/quarterly/annual bonuses prior to payment.

• Ad hoc budgeting and forecasting activities throughout the planning cycle.
