A award-winning Practice are searching for an Accounts Manager to join their fast-paced team. Working closely with the Partners of the firm, you will run a busy portfolio of varied clients ranging from SME’s to high net worth individuals.

The ideal Accounts Manager candidate will be working at a senior/supervisory level ready to take the step to Manager, or will be a Accounts Manager perhaps frustrated with the lack of progression on offer in their current firm or looking for the opportunity to work with some larger clients.

This role is perfect for someone looking to progress and show management ability. Our clients have stated that there is the very realistic opportunity for you to progress into a Senior Manager role swiftly.

Ideal requirements:

• Experience supervising a team of Accounts staff within a sizeable Practice.
• ACA/ACCA Qualified or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills and able to communicate at all levels both internally and externally
• Demonstrable working knowledge of Accounting standards, industry specifics and their applications
• Experience with Sage Line 50, Quickbooks, Xero and Sage Accounts Production Advanced

• Technical accountancy knowledge is essential

Responsibilities of the Role:

• Planning and completion of Accounts
• Attending and leading client meetings
• Delegation and review of work completed by team
• Managing overall service delivery to clients
• Managing the Accounts staff - including appraisal/mentoring/workload etc
• Offering support to Partners when required
