Finance Assistant

Anne Jagger Recruitment in Witney is working with a leading manufacturer to recruit a Finance Assistant.

You will be responsible for supporting Finance Managers in providing high quality and timely financial information, with the aim of improving the profitability of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and other financial reporting of a high quality
• Supporting monthly reviews of financial results with management to ensure they are as accurate as possible
• Assisting with inventory reporting
• Maintenance of the company asset register
• Compiling information required for the company annual insurance declarations

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Good knowledge of Excel is essential
• Intermediate PowerPoint and Word skills are essential
• Ability to develop a good understanding of the Epicor ERP system
• Good analytical skills
• An ability to identify and implement solutions to resolve problems

The successful candidate must be AAT qualified or part qualified with recent track record of exam success

This position offers a salary of £25,000 to £28,000 depending on skills and experience. Working hours are 8.30am - 5.30pm Monday to FRiday with an hour lunch break.
