Finance Manager

Job Summary:

A fantastic opportunity has emerged for a Finance Manager to join our client, a dynamic consultancy based on Milton Park. The Finance Manager is responsible for managing purchase, sales, and general ledgers, as well as company sales and associated activities.

Major Responsibilities:

• Preparing, checking, and sending invoices and resolving any issues with them.
• Completing client financial requests.
• Track individual budgets/purchase orders and maintain client account summaries as required.
• Managing and closing of monthly purchase and sales ledgers, including payment, credit control, and management reports and resolving queries.
• Bank and supplier statements reconciliations.
• Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts.
• Processing staff expenses and working with external accountant to ensure payroll timelines are met.

The Ideal Candidate:

You will have excellent attention to detail and organisation skills, the ability to communicate well in writing and verbally, and be able to function well under pressure. A practical approach to problem solving and dedication to delivering highly accurate work are also essential. It would be beneficial to have a working knowledge of Xero and Microsoft Office packages (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) would also be beneficial.
