Assistant Accountant - £21,000 to £23,000 + Study Support

An excellent Assistant Accountant opportunity has arisen at a leading Manufacturer based in Newport. You will join a busy and fast paced Finance function where, with the right work ethic, you can truly propel your career. Full study support is provided and an excellent support network.

Your new role
You will assist with the preparation and reporting of weekly management accounts and kpi reports, preparation of weekly P/L accounts, assisting with statutory accounts, monthly financial accounts preparation and balance sheet reconciliations.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a bright and ambitious individual with a hands-on approach to work. You will have similar experience within a previous role and will hold intermediate Excel skills (pivots, look ups etc). In addition, you must be an approachable individual who can work autonomously and as part of a larger team.

What you'll get in return
