Reed Finance are currently supporting a professional services/consultancy business based in central Oxford to recruit a qualified management accountant to join their finance team on a 12 month fixed term basis covering maternity.
Reporting to the FD the duties include -
Ensuring the management accounts and monthly reporting is produced in a timely fashion and day to day management of an accounts assistant.
• providing management with key financial and non-financial information
• cash flow monitoring
• VAT returns
• preparation of draft management accounts
• year-end financial statements
• revenue analysis and protection
• fixed asset register
• overall responsibility for managing:
o bank reconciliations
o sales and purchase ledger
• maintaining account balances to ensure funds available to meet requirements and within overdraft limits
• pension reconciliation, submission and payment
• quarterly bonus calculations, monthly payment set ups
This is a well known and well respected business who enjoy nice offices and a good working environment.
The client is looking to pay a salary around £34-36k but would consider some movement for a strong candidate. Additionally they offer flexi time, group pension, subsidised health insurance and dis.
