Based in Slough, Berkshire, our client is a leading Accountancy Practice looking for a Senior Manager to join their team.

This job would suit an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with 2-5 years PQE. The job will involve working directly with a partner, with an international client base, and being involved in a broad range of work.

The company is an established, global company with sites worldwide. The role will be a high profile opportunity within the company with great progression. The job will also involve some international travel.

The successful individual will have had exposure across all areas of accounting including management and statutory reporting, corporate and indirect tax, corporate finance, cashflow analysis and business planning. The candidate must have the ability to communicate at all levels of the business and tax advice experience would be desirable but it is not essential.

Duties will include:

• Managing a portfolio of varied clients
• 70% accountancy services, 30% audit.
• The position entails a high level of direct liaison with these clients where you will normally be their first point of contact
• Supervising and training junior members of staff as well as reporting directly to the partners
• Provide a client focused and commercially aware service in an efficient and professional manner
• To actively promote and market the firm and its services, to attract new clients and retain and develop relationships with existing clients
