Accountant / Senior Accounts Assistant

We are seeking an Accountant / Senior Accounts Technician to join their Rural department in the Wells office. This is a full time, permanent role with a salary which is dependent on experience and qualifications. There is also a benefits package and support with professional development.

The main duties of the role include;

• Carry out large and complex accountancy tasks with support and small jobs with no support
• Carry out bookkeeping tasks as well as the preparation of straightforward accounts and tax returns under supervision
• Work efficiently and accurately with in-house accountancy and tax software tools.
• Provide a quality service to clients
• Support the team in the achievement of business targets
• Complete work and assignments on time within allocated budget.

The successful candidate must have;

• Minimum of AAT Level 4
• A levels at grade C or above or equiv.
• Experience in the rural community be it through work or personal life
• Provide a quality service to clients
• Support the team in the achievement of business targets

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
