This is a fantastic opportunity for a keen and enthusiastic Graduate seeking a career in the accounting field to join a very established firm of local Accountants and provide day to day support.
Some of your duties will include:
- Supporting team of Accountants with the preparation of accounts on behalf of small business clients
- Working on behalf of SME sole traders, Partnerships and Limited commercial Companies
- Preparing bought, sales and nominal ledger records and reconciling transactions at the month-end
- Producing cashbooks, reconciling bank statements and investigating any anomalies that occur
- Assisting with the production of client weekly and monthly payrolls and monthly PAYE returns
- Assisting with reconciling accounts at year-end, preparing profit and loss reports and statutory returns
