Our client, a well known and growing business in Redhill are looking for a Finance Data Analyst to join their accountancy team.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse current processes, propose and implement technical improvements where possible, using advanced SQP queries and/or Excel including VBA (Excel Macros)
- Working with the pricing team to develop and test new models/methodologies
- Create data processing macros to convert data into manageable format (using VBA)
- Contribute to the identification and investigation of data discrepancies
- Provide proactive support to the members of the pricing team to resolve ad hoc queries and issues
- Develop a commercial awareness
- Help to generate accurate pricing for bespoke pricing mechanisms
- Document and liaise with IT for system issues
Profile
Successful candidate:
- Will be highly numerate with excellent analytical & database skills.
- Have the ability to understand the complex data structures.
- Have an inquisitive and problem solving approach.
- Have a genuine interest and enjoyment in working with complex sets of data
- Excellent attention to detail.
