Financial Controller - Lisburn

This is an entity that is completely self-funded through their own commercial ventures with a very strong existing number of revenue streams, who are also in the middle of a huge development to diversify the business which will completely change and evolve the organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of such an exciting period of growth and a real chance to be part of driving positive change from within, be part of the Senior Management Team (including leading a dedicated finance team) and have ownership of all financial aspects of a company looking at doubling their workforce in the next year. Key Responsibilities: Monthly, Quarterly & Annual Accounts preparation Budgeting and Forecasting Cashflow planning and management Variance Analysis, Data Interpretation & Reporting Manage, amend, implement all processes and systems within the finance function Liaison with banks, insurers and other key stakeholders All aspects of management of a small finance team - staffing, appraisals, performance management etc As part of the senior management team, assist with future strategy and business planning Ideally we are looking for someone with a recognised accountancy qualification and 3-5 years PQE, although we would also welcome applications from “Qualified by Experience” candidates with strong industry backgrounds. Candidates with experience in a cash focussed industry - retail, hospitality, logistics etc would be of particular interest.
