Job Role: Operational Financial Management: Managing the Company's Xero accounting system, and integrated tools, to: Manage timely Bank, credit card and PayPal reconciliations Uploading supplier invoices and preparing payment runs Generating and issuing customer invoices and managing direct debit receipts Undertaking proactive credit control to ensure cash is received when required Processing Payroll Processing VAT returns Updating fixed assets as required Other duties as required to ensure the trial balance is reconciled monthly. Financial Reporting: Preparing monthly management accounts Managing weekly cashflow reports and forecasts Preparing ad-hoc reporting as required by the management team Responsibility for internal financial management duties as required by the management team and non-financial departments. Essential Skill Set and Experience Requirements: Training will be provided to the successful candidate. However, all candidates must have at least the following to be considered for this position: Have at least 3 years experience of working in a financial management role within the desired scope of this position Hold an Accounting Technicians qualification or above Have a demonstrable experience in using an online accounting system to reconcile trial balances and prepare management accounts Have prepared a set of financial forecasts / budgets for a business and presented to a management team.
