Financial Accountant - Trading/Fin-tech

A global firm specializing in algorithmic execution trading and market-marking have grown through acquisition and are on the lookout for a qualified financial accountant to join their team in the Dublin office. A small firm, fostering a culture of technological innovation and flat organization charts, this company offers a unique, rewarding path for the ambitious accountant. The role will afford the successful candidate exposure to all aspects of financial control for a leading trading firm. This includes financial accounting, management accounting, tax compliance, statutory reporting and Treasury / cash management. You will: Day to day accounting and finance operations. General ledger maintenance and analysis Treasury / cash management for global trading accounts Preparation of monthly management accounts and quarterly Board reports Central Bank of Ireland reporting monthly metrics, FINREP, COREP, etc. Audit & financial reporting Project work Experience: A qualified accountant with a strong academic background Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office especially Excel.
