Job Purpose:

As part of an energetic and fun team of 7, you will provide support to the Financial Advisers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing a consistently high level of customer service to clients.
  • To produce accurate compliant client reports (including suitability reports) for Financial Advisers
  • To collect relevant data in order to complete reports
  • Produce quotations on financial products for comparison
  • Processing of investment, pension and protection new business and following the case through to completion
  • Collate and upload all relevant data and correspondence to our Intelligent Office back office system to submit cases for compliance checking
  • Assist in client meetings when requested
  • Drafting Letter and Correspondence
  • Complete annual review procedure
  • Maintain all necessary systems
  • Generate and managing client fee/invoices.

Requirements for successful applicants:

  • Team Player, self-motivated and self-starter.
  • Have an engaging manner, with excellent people-skills, and capable of building relationships.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Prioritise and plan own workload
  • Understanding of the Financial Planning process
  • Previous experience dealing with private clients and supporting Financial Planner(s).
  • Able to work within defined business processes
  • Ability to achieve agreed outcomes without supervision
  • Detailed and accurate
  • Articulate
  • Excellent inter‐personal skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multi‐task and prioritise effectively
  • Good report writing skills
  • Broad knowledge of financial series world such as Investments, Pensions, Wrapped Products etc.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills including Microsoft Excel and the willingness to learn new programs.
  • Preference will be applied to candidates showing experience of using Intelligent Office and Voyant.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Be highly numerical and analytical with a high standard of written English (GCSE grades in Math’s and English A-C or equivalent.
  • Appropriate Examination for advising on Packaged Products (Certificate in Financial Services / Certificate in Paraplanning).

Desirable

  • Trusts (J02)
  • Investments (IMC, J10 or equivalent examination)
  • Other technical areas (Pension, Long-term care)
  • Certified Financial Planner Certificate
