Financial Accountant

Overview: j2 Global continues to grow and as a result we are expanding our accounting team which operates in our European HQ in Santry, North Dublin (5 minutes from Dublin airport). As a fast paced, dynamic, global accounting team of a public company we are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's accounting activities. As a Financial Accountant, you will participate in all GL activities related to full-cycle accounting by brand and location and primarily manage the accounting and finance operations. Key responsibilities: Prepare standard and specialized reports according to GAAP Prepare detailed analytics and trend analyses Provide accounting support for management in financial analysis, budgeting and other reporting Prepare detailed accrual analyses Manage inter-company accounts and associated reconciliations Support in month end close of assigned entities Reconciliation of general ledger accounts and bank statements Prepare a variety of journal entries Key requirements: 5+ years of relevant experience in an accounting position ACCA, CPA, ACA or CIMA qualified Knowledge of US GAAP highly desirable Experience with international accounting Strong month-end closing experience Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines Experience with Oracle or similar accounting system and experience with Microsoft Excel Proven track record of strong analytical skills Excellent English written and verbal communication skills Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred
