- Registered Nurse with current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) (mandatory)
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the legislation governing aged care
- Commitment to, and experience in, contemporary aged care practice
- Experience and sound ability to support and lead a multi-disciplinary team in a nursing environment
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience in assessment and care planning of the older person
- Experience in a clinical leadership role with the ability to manage day to day clinical issues
- Thorough understanding of regulatory compliance in a residential aged care environment including ACFI and accreditation
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to plan, prioritise, manage and delegate day to day activities in an efficient manner
- Demonstrated computer literacy
- An ongoing commitment to work within the Mission, Vision and Values of Calvary Retirement Communities
- Willingness to undergo a National Police History Check - a current and satisfactory clearance is a condition of employment
