The candidate
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, almost qualified or newly qualified finance professional with a strong track record in establishing business processes and policy, communicating financial information, as well as supporting finance functions. Experience of US accounting, Xero software and advanced excel modelling skills would be highly beneficial along with purchasing experience. Our client are looking for someone who is pro-active, has excellent attention to detail, can plan, prioritise and meet deadlines, has excellent interpersonal skills and works well as part of a team. Building and maintaining relationships with key personnel, including non-financial staff and senior executives, across the organisation is a major requirement.
Responsibilities include;
·Introduction of a purchase ordering system, alongside the Accounts Assistant
·Assisting with monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis for all entities
·Strategic cost analysis
·Monthly payroll for UK & US employees
·Monthly review meetings with all budget holders
·Monthly KPI's
·Documenting procedures and policies
·Supporting the team with ad hoc duties
·Financial and cash flow forecasts over a rolling 3-year period
·Budget preparation
·Assisting with R&D tax credit & Patent box submissions
Liaise with auditors & tax authorities regarding audit and tax matters

Excellent Salary - approx £45k
