The Finance Analyst is working as part of a Centre of Excellence business unit focuses on business analytics and reporting for Finance colleagues in 22 countries

Description

The Finance Analyst role is part of our clients centre of excellence focussed on Inventory control for the European region.

Responsible for Gross to Net inventory actuals for Consumer EAME inventory.

* Month end financial close process ownership for regional Inventory.
* Responsible for regional inventory analysis and reserves:

o Intercompany Profit Elimination
o Slow Moving or Obselete Stock (SLOB) provision
o Revaluation Analysis
o Regional Inventory Days calculations
o POS re-classification
o Direct GRIR analysis

* Provide management information and analysis for management and cooperate with Internal and External Auditors.

* Provide estimation of above reserves to Regional Supply Chain Group for planning purposes.

* Involvement in various Projects, with a focus on those that touch Inventory.

People Management:

* Lead, develop and motivate four direct reports.
* Foster an environment of teamwork, innovation and sharing of ideas

The scope will touch on all areas of the Inventory accounting across EAME Region, which carries a high level of responsibility and opportunity for the right candidate.

Profile

Qualifications:

Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ CIMA or equivalent) with 1st time passes.

Degree educated with minimum 2:1 achieved ( or equivalent )

Post qualified financial experience gained in a bluechip multinational.

Team management / Supervisory experience

Languages:

English essential / Other European languages desirable
