VAT Assistant

We at Taxback International want to hear from you. We are currently looking for a professional and driven VAT Assistant to be based in our  Kilkenny office . You will support our VAT Manager with administrative projects in relation to client implementation, management of agents and fees and the monitoring of time spent on non-standard services through our time recording system. *Competitive salary and an excellent benefits package included.* As VAT Assistant you will be responsible for: Assisting with research in relation to new VAT/GST markets. Assisting with research in relation to new reporting requirements worldwide. Assisting with client queries regarding VAT deduction and compliance in relation to our Domestic VAT Recovery service. Supporting the Sales and Marketing Teams for client meetings and presentations. Assisting with VAT consultancy projects and general support to the VAT Compliance Team. What we need to see from you is… Degree qualification or higher in Finance, Accountancy or equivalent. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in VAT, VAT administration. Must be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision. Available to travel internationally with the sales team when required to act as technical advisor for client meetings.
